Maria’s interest with the human body began during her time as a swimming teacher, observing the way people move through water. Her journey deepened through studies with Steven Shaw, founder of The Art of Swimming, which integrates the Alexander Technique and mindfulness. She is also a certified yoga teacher, having trained in India, and holds a diploma in holistic and medical massage therapies. In 2015, Maria completed her training with Thomas Myers (Anatomy Trains) and is now a board-certified Structural Integration Practitioner.
